Position Title: Workforce Trainer (Pool)

Term of Position: As needed, Part-time
Position Description:(primary functions)
The trainer pool positions consists of electrical, HVAC, construction, machining, industrial maintenance and diesel maintenance. These are part-time, as needed hourly positions. Time and dates for the classes are flexible.Minimum Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Electrical, HVAC, Construction, Machinery, Industrial, or Diesel Maintenance
- Certification or License and experience may replace a degree in some trades
- Three to ten plus years of hands-on experience
- Ability to explain complex processes clearly, demonstrate practical skills, and assess trainee performance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct short-term training classes
- Ensure proper safety requirements are taught and supervise all training experience
- Maintain required paperwork of class attendance and progress
- Submit monthly timesheets
- Evaluate student progress
- Assist in the selection and procurement of instructional supplies and equipment
- Assist in the recruitment of students
